Through a grant to Project Lead The Way, Astellas USA Foundation’s new Rural Spark Project seeks to change the shape of STEM learning in targeted rural areas for middle and high school students with invigorating teacher training and exciting hands-on learning opportunities in the classroom and the community.
C|O partnered with Astellas USA Foundation’s team to create this initiative with key messages, PR, branding, website and digital assets, along with a brand and website refresh for its broader ScienceWoRx™ program, designed to address other critical gaps in STEM learning.
An initial targeted email campaign resulted in hundreds of views of the embedded explainer video. The website and C|O created videos continue to be a key resource for learning about the Rural Spark Project, ScienceWoRx, and the important work being done by Astellas USA Foundation.
We could call it branding, but when designing a brand identity and creating an educational, yet engaging tone is this enjoyable, it’s better described as a passion project.
